47th Miss Teen Dominica Pageant Hailed as a Major Success

Chairman of the Waitikubuli Dance Theatre Company, Raymond Lawrence, has described the 47th staging of the Miss Teen Dominica Pageant as a major success, pointing to strong public support, smooth execution, and the high quality of the overall production.

Speaking following the event held over the weekend, Lawrence said the pageant met and, in some aspects, exceeded expectations, particularly when compared to previous editions, including last year’s show. He noted that the continued support from the public, sponsors, and organizers played a key role in the success of the event.

Meanwhile, 14-year-old Ladira Dyer, a second-form student of the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School, was crowned Miss Teen Dominica 2026. Dyer delivered a standout performance, capturing multiple awards including Best Promotional Speech, Best Talent, Best Spectacular Wear, and Best in Spectacular Wear.

The first runner-up title went to Marina Jno Baptiste of Operation Youth Quake, who also earned awards for Best Evening Wear, Best in Evening Wear, and Miss Amity.

Joyette Carbon of the Portsmouth Secondary School placed second runner-up.
