5 Venezuelan nationals expected to be charged with possession of cocaine

5 more Venezuelan nationals are expected to be charged in court this week, after they were intercepted at Douglas Charles Airport  by customs and police.

5 were charged in court on Friday and pleaded guilty.

It is alleged that the 10 men were carrying several capsules of apparent cocaine in their abdomen.

They were taken to the Dominica /China Friendship Hospital where they were relieved of the capsules with the assistance of hospital medical staff.
