Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has reiterated a call for a timelier dispensation of external funds in order to address the issues of climate change in Small Island Developing States.
The prime minister was addressing a development partners’ coordination meeting hosted by the United Nations Barbados and Eastern Caribbean Office which got underway at the State House this morning.
United Nations Resident Coordinator for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Didier Trebucq also addressed this morning’s opening ceremony.
