Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development Gloria Joseph is optimistic a visit by the Clinton Global Initiative will reap benefits for Dominica.

A delegation from the Organization commenced a three day visit to Dominica yesterday to see the current status of the country post Hurricane Maria.

The 13 member delegation is also assisting with Dominica’s vision for the Energy, Agriculture, Tourism and ICT Sectors.

Government officials including Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and Permanent Secretaries, this morning, hosted round table discussions on projects for consideration.

Joseph says the team will visit several ongoing projects while in Dominica.
