The Boys and Girls Volleyball Teams lost in straight sets to the Venezuela “A” team in their respective matches.
The Dominica Table tennis girls team also lost its matches against Cuba, and Venezuela “B” in straight sets. While the boys lost in straight sets to Nicaragua, and the Venezuela “A” team.
Dominica however is doing reasonably well in Chess, as the Dominica team picked up some victories on Monday.
There were wins for Dr Lyndon Auguiste, Robert Bridet and Nigel Francis.
The ALBA Games will continue on Tuesday. with Chess and
Table Tennis at 9 a.m., Basketball with Dominica playing Venezuela at 2:30 p.m., Billiards (Pools) from 11 a.m. Volleyball at 10 a.m. with Dominica playing St Vincent boys at 10 a.m. and St Vincent women at 12 noon.
Dominica also plays Nicaragua in girls’ football at 5 p.m.
