West Indies captain Roston Chase has challenged his batters to take ownership and be more accountable following another disappointing performance with the bat.

Chase’s comments came after the West Indies suffered defeat to New Zealand in the second Test, which was wrapped up inside three days.

The captain admitted that the team’s batting failures were a major factor in the loss, stressing that starts were not being converted into meaningful scores.

The west indies will meet New Zealand in the 3rd and final test on Wednesday.
