Chief Election Officer Anthea Joseph has announced that the election commission has received over 12,000 applications for voter confirmation to date.
The voter confirmation exercise which is currently underway, forms part of the efforts to modernise and update the national Register of Electors.
Joseph provided an update on the ongoing voter confirmation process.
