Head coach of the women’s Under-17 Football Team, Rosillia Registe says despite the rough start to the CONCACAF Under-17 Qualifiers, spirits are still high within the camp.
Nicaragua hammered Dominica 9-0 on Monday night.
The host controlled the contest from start to finish, dominating possession with 72 percent and firing 23 shots on target at the Dominican goal.
They raced into a 4–0 lead by halftime, before turning on the style in the second half. Dominica lost 9-nil to suffer their second defeat of the tournament.
In the other Group A match the Dominican Republic pounded the USVI 11-nil to move into first place in the group.
The Dominican republic has 6 points, Nicaragua 6 points, Belize, Dominica and the USVI are yet to get off the mark.
Dominica will play their next game against Belize on Wednesday.
