Several of Dominica’s standout athletes were recognized over the weekend as the Dominica Athletics Association (DAA) hosted its Awards Ceremony at the Dominica Public Service Union (DPSU) building on Valley Road.
Held under the theme “Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring the Future,” the event highlighted the achievements of athletes who excelled throughout the season, while also acknowledging the continued growth of track and field on the island.
Organizers said the ceremony aimed to encourage young athletes to keep pushing boundaries as Dominica works to strengthen its presence in regional and international athletics.
