The Dominica Amateur Basketball Association has handed down suspensions to players and fans and a referee following a fighting incident at a game last month.
President of the DABA Donnie Robinson says security measures will be introduced when the season resumes at the Massacre indoor facility on Wednesday.
The players, official and fans who received match suspensions are:
Jeff Jeremy of blazers three game suspension.
DRESTSUAN LEE of BLAZERS, 2 GAMES
BERNARD LEE, referee I game
CLEVE BELLOT of falcons suspended for the rest of the season and one game of next season.
JAVIE BELLOT of falcons, three games.
Yawanie regis of falcons , three games.
JOSIAH MODEST of 767 SC, 1 GAME.
ERCEL LETANG of falcons , a fan , 3 games
and ERMA OLIVE of falcons a fan 3 games.
All suspended persons are also required to submit an apology as part of their suspension. Javid Joseph of BLAZERS was written a warning letter for behavior.
