Taxi Operators and other tourism stakeholders have been advised that it will not be business- as- usual for the 2O21 Cruise Ship Season.

Chief Executive Officer of the Dominica Air and Sea Port Authority (DASPA) Benoit Bardouille, said taxi operators must be vaccinated or show a PCR test result, to participate in the Season, which opens in early June.

“You’re going to have to be PCR tested every week,” he said, quoting the cost as anywhere between EC$100 to $200.

Bardouille encouraged stakeholders, particularly Taxi and Bus drivers, to get vaccinated to avoid the cost of taking PCR tests weekly.
