Chartered Accountant Kieron Pinard Byrne says he has instructed his attorneys to proceed with a bankruptcy petition against Opposition Leader Lennox Linton.
Linton was served with a bankruptcy notice in late August and was given seven days to pay over £20, 000.00 in an outstanding matter from a defamation matter at the Privy Council.
Pinard- Byrne told DBS on Tuesday that Linton has failed to meet the payments and he has instructed his attorneys to file a petition to the courts to declare Linton Bankrupt.
