Health Minister, Dr. Kenneth Darroux has raised concerns over the time frame in which funds are disbursed from the international Community for disaster mitigation projects.
On Friday, three contracts worth $4.8M were signed under the World Bank Disaster Vulnerability Reduction project to improve water systems for the North West Coast.
Eight Water storage tanks are to be constructed but Dr. Darroux says finances were approved over the last few years.
