DFA Clubs Ratify New Statutes Introducing Term Limits and Governance Changes

Clubs affiliated with the Dominica Football Association (DFA) have ratified a series of constitutional changes aimed at strengthening governance within the organization.

Among the key reforms are the introduction of term limits for executive members, adjustments to the composition of the board, and revisions to the process by which elections are conducted.

Under the new statutes, board members will now be permitted to serve a maximum of three terms, while several existing executive positions will become null and void as part of the restructuring process.

The changes were formally adopted during a meeting with member clubs held on Thursday night at the DFA headquarters.

President of the Dominica Football Association, Glen Etienne, said the reforms are intended to improve transparency and governance within the association.
