Dominican diaspora gives feedback on voting in country’s general elections

Dominican Justice Irving Andre, a judge based in Canada, says Dominicans living abroad who have not returned in a five year period should be barred from voting in the country’s elections.

Dr. Andre says the matter needs to be addressed in electoral reform.

Meantime, Dominicans abroad are expressing mixed feelings about whether they should be allowed to vote in general elections.

Meantime , the consultation on electoral reform resumes on Monday at 7pm for media personalities.
