President of the Dominica Calypso Association Gregory Karessa Riviere is reporting revenue of over 434, OOO dollars for the 2O26 calypso season.
He told the annual general meeting of the Dominica Calypso Association at the weekend that gate receipts of 269, 811 were the highest in the last four years.
He said, however, that expenses for the season jumped to 469, OOO dollars.
Meantime, the calypso season is set to begin on November 7 with the eliminations.
