Chairman of the Government Geothermal Energy Development and Negotiations team, His Excellency Vince Henderson says generation of electricity from Dominica’s Geothermal resources could become a reality by 2019.
He says Government will engage a company from New Zealand to assist with the early stages of development of the geothermal power station.
Henderson says Government has also engaged a legal firm from New York to handle the power purchasing agreement.
