The Dominica Cricket Academy (DCA) has received a significant financial boost this week, with a contribution of $67,500 to support its cricket operations.
The funding was provided by the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots through its director, Mahesh Ramani, and forms part of an ongoing partnership aimed at strengthening cricket development on the island.
Minister of State in the Ministry of Sports, Senator Oscar George, expressed sincere gratitude to the Patriots for their support, describing the Dominica Cricket Academy as Dominica’s premier cricket development programme. He noted that the academy plays a vital role in identifying, nurturing, and developing young cricketing talent while promoting excellence in the sport.
The contribution is expected to assist with the continued operation and expansion of the academy’s programmes as Dominica works to produce the next generation of elite cricketers.
