Dominica hosts U.S. Army Civil Affairs Soldiers assigned to the U.S. Embassy Bridgetown Military Liaison Group last week

CEO of the Dominica Hospitals Authority, Dr. Kenneth Darroux has welcomed U.S. Army Civil Affairs Soldiers assigned to the U.S. Embassy Bridgetown Military Liaison Group.

The delegation arrived in Dominica last week.

A meeting was held with the team to discuss future collaboration opportunities, followed by a site visit to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

According to a Facebook post by the Dominica Hospitals Authority, Dr. Darroux expressed his gratitude and shared his excitement for potential partnerships in supporting healthcare capacity and emergency preparedness across Dominica.

Team Chief Captain Trey Smart expressed his anticipation for working alongside Dominican healthcare professionals and leadership to support efforts that can enhance healthcare capacity for the people of Dominica.

The U.S. Embassy Bridgetown Country Officer for Dominica, Brett Hernandez stated his appreciation to the government of Dominica and the hospital for welcoming the U.S. Embassy and military Civil Affairs team in an effort to explore continued collaboration on healthcare for the people of Dominica.
