Dominica Launches 911 Emergency Response System

Dominica has launched a new 911 Emergency Response System.

The system is an initiative of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (NTRC) and other stakeholders; it costs 1.8 million dollars.

Minister for Telecommunication, Kelver Darroux says the system will provide a new service to Dominicans.

Additionally, Minister for National Security Rayburn Blackmoore has called for cooperation from responders of the new system.
