Dominica Launches Low Carbon Development Project

Dominica has launched a low Carbon Development project.

At the inception workshop at Fort Young hotel on Wednesday, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Health and the Environment Ivor Stephenson said the launch of the Low Carbon Development project is another bold initiative by Dominica to promote the use of clean sustainable sources of energy.

Meantime, Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nation Development Program (UNDP) in Barbados, Chasar McCamie says the initiative by Dominica should be applauded as it is a response to the impact of climate change.
