Dominica Pepares to Export Relief Supplies for 3 Hurricane Affected Countries Tuesday

National security Minister Rayburn Blackmoore says relief supplies for victims affected by Hurricane Irma will leave for Anguilla, St. Martin and the British Virgin Islands on Tuesday.

Minister Blackmoore also says a bank account has also been set up for people wishing to make financial contributions.

The appeal fund number at the National Bank of Dominica is 615000493

Meantime, Consultant in the Office of Disaster Management, Cecil Shillingford says a joint committee has been established between the private sector and government to spear head relief efforts.

He says the shipments will mainly consist of dry goods and water.
