Dominica Police Called on to Show Greater Regard for their Responsibilities

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has called on the police not to take action which will compromise the security of the state.

The Prime Minister’s call was made at the handing over ceremony of 8 new vehicles to the police at a cost of over $900,000.

Meantime, Police Chief Daniel Carbon wants supervisors to be responsible in dealing with the use of police vehicles.

He made reference to an incident where an officer was asked to pay $7,000 to repair a police vehicle.
