Dominica Red Cross seeking to regain public’s trust

Acting Director of the Dominica Red Cross Dr. Jaslin Salmon says restoring the public’s trust in the Red Cross is among his major challenges.

Dr. Salmon, who is in Dominica conducting a review of the overall operations of the Red Cross, says the Institution is facing many challenges.

Meantime Dr Salmon is dismissing suggestions that the Red Cross played no role in providing assistance to the Workshop for the Blind.

Dr Salmon says the Red Cross has provided humanitarian assistance and assisted the Workshop for the Blind in a number of ways.
