Dominica Reports An Increase In COVID 19 Related Deaths As Of Monday January 24

Dominica is reporting an increase in COVID 19 related deaths as of Monday, January 24.

The Ministry of Health says 51 people have died since the pandemic began.

COVID 19 cases are also on the increase this week, as Dominica recorded 187 new cases at the weekend, taking the number of active cases to 726.

217 people recovered during the period.  Total confirmed cases in Dominica are 8727, while 795O people have recovered.

143619 tests have been administered so far.

31, 236 people have taken a first dose of the vaccine, while 28942 have a second dose.
