Dominica Social Security to Roll Out Pilot National Health Insurance Program for Dominica in April.

The Dominica Social Security will be administering the first phase of a pilot National Health insurance program come April 1, 2017.

Director of the Dominica Social Social Security, Janice JeanJacques-Thomas told DBS’ Talking Point on Thursday that the program will cover young and expecting mothers and children up to the age of 3.

She says the program is a major step in the formulation of a National Health insurance program.
