Dominica surrendered to Grenada by the closest of margins 22-21

Dominica surrendered to Grenada by the closest of margins 22-21 in the Jean Pierre Caribbean under 16 netball tournament for their second defeat at Windsor Park.

Captain Kenya John shot 17 goals from 24 tries and LE-MYA Forde 4 goals from 12 attempts

For Grenada , Keisia Mathurin converted 17 goals from  24 tries and Antonia George 5 goals from 6 attempts.

Manager of the Dominica team Curnia James expressed disappointment with  her teams performance

 

Meantime , Barbados remained the only unbeaten team in the tournament

They beat St Lucia 22-8

Kenniah  Blackman scored 11 goals from 16 tries for Barbados and Kianna Harte 5 goals from 15 attempts.

Trotman added 3 goals from 4 attempts

In last nights opening match ,  Trinidad and Tobago defeated Cayman Islands 24-12

The curtain comes down on the tournament this evening

In the first match at 5 OCLOCK,

Dominica meets Cayman Islands,

St Lucia plays Grenada and the championship match features the unbeaten Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago
