Dominica to Roll Out New Small Business Development Legislation

Dominica is introducing new legislation to its Parliament for small business development.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit made the announcement Thursday morning at the official signing ceremony for a loan facility of $15M for manufacturers at the AID Bank.

The Government of Dominica through the Ministry of Commerce, Enterprise and Small Business Development in its 201/2018 National Budget Address, approved EC$15M for the establishment of the special loan facility for the improvement and expansion of the manufacturing sector.

The signing ceremony of the agreement took place at the State House Conference Centre.

Meantime, Minister for Commerce and Small Business Development has called on Manufacturers to take advantage of the fund which have been made available.
