Dominica U-20 Men Eliminated from Contention in the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers After Loss to St Lucia

The Dominica national under-20 football team have been eliminated from contention in the CONCACAF U-20 World Cup Qualifiers following their second defeat of the campaign on Friday in Costa Rica.

Dominica suffered a 3–0 loss to Saint Lucia national under-20 football team, effectively ending their slim hopes of advancing to the next round.

St Lucia struck early, opening the scoring just 10 minutes into the contest. Dominica was unable to recover from the early setback, as St Lucia maintained sustained pressure throughout the match and secured their first victory of the qualifiers with a comfortable three-nil result.

The defeat sees Dominica drop to the bottom of the group standings.

The team will close out its campaign on Sunday when they face Antigua and Barbuda national under-20 football team.
