Today marked the inaugural arrival to Dominica of the Valiant Lady, a cruise ship with a maximum passenger capacity of 2,770.
A plaque and keys ceremony was held onboard the ship at Woodbridge Bay Port this morning.

General Manager of the Valiant Lady, Megan Monhollen, expressed her excitement about bringing visitors to Dominica.
She indicated that the Valiant Lady is expected to make several more calls to Dominica this year and next year.
