Dominica Youth Business Trust Recognises Young Entrepreneurs

The Dominica Youth Business Trust has named Lynvor Ambo of Dublanc as male entrepreneur for the year.

Ambo is the owner of Choco Dominique.

The award was presented at the 12th graduation ceremony of the Dominica Youth Business Trust at the Arawak House of Culture on Wednesday.

The female entrepreneur award went to Sherma Gregoire of Heaven Scents.

Meantime, the Rotary club of Dominica and Campbell J. Phillip Memorial Business Plan innovation award went to Joel Noel of Wesley.

Five others took the Business Plan Innovation Awards.

They are Shernelle Thomas of Royal Bakery, Stara Robinson of Starz Plus hair dressing, Mallisa Louis of M-N Pitzaria, Nelly Jules of Digital Television and Linelle Detouche of auto detailing.

Roseau Central MP, Joseph Isaac has encouraged the graduates to be committed to the development of their enterprises.

Meantime, Acting Youth Minister, Kelvar Darroux says Government’s commitment to youth development has been documented.

He says $1M has been set aside for the Dominica Youth Business Trust.
