Local CXC Registrar for Dominica Magalie Celestine has urged the island’s 2021 regional exam candidates to be patient, as they await exam results in October.
The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) announced this week that results for Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) exams will first be released to Ministries of Education before a release to the public by October 15.
“The target, really, is October 6” Celestine told DBS News, “but because of the back and forth in the marking process… this may cause them to delay a bit”.
Meantime, she says results of Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC) exams for St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be released by October 20.
As Dominican students sat the St. Vincent CCSLC exams, candidates can also expect results by that date.
