Dominicans are being advised to remain vigilant and prepare for the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season, despite NOAA’s prediction of a 55% chance of a below-normal season.
That’s according to the Acting Director of the Met Service in Dominica, Marshall Alexander.
Speaking on the Disaster and You Radio Program on DBS Radio on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Alexander says the indirect impacts of certain weather systems can severely affect the island.
