Dominicans are being assured that there is “nothing to be worried about” concerning oil security in the country.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has assured the people of Dominica that there is “nothing to be worried about” concerning oil security in the country following the January 3rd US attack on Venezuela.

He emphasised that Dominica does not rely solely on Venezuela for its petroleum products.

Mr Skerrit says the existing agreement between the government and Venezuela under Petro Caribe includes commercial agreements with suppliers from international markets.
