Education Minister Octavia ALFRED heads a four-member Dominica delegation to the inaugural CXC REGIONAL education conference in Jamaica.
The other participants are Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Robert Guiste, local CXC registrar Magalie Ceslestine and Andre Mcaulay deputy principal of Convent High School.
The conference and Ministerial forum will focus on Learning in the Digital Age.
Over 3OO education stakeholders from across the Caribbean, including Ministers of Education, will gather in Jamaica to discuss teaching, learning and assessment in the digital age.
The Caribbean Examination Council and Jamaica’s Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information have partnered to facilitate the timely regional education conference and Ministerial forum between March 16 -19 at the Jamaica PEGASUS hotel in Kingston.
The conference is designed to deepen regional collaboration on how best to navigate the prevailing digital environment for greater learning outcomes in the Caribbean.
CXC will sign a landmark Partnership Engagement agreement with the consortium of Caribbean employer groups at the Ministerial forum.
