Minister for Energy Dr Vince Henderson has revealed that commissioning of the geothermal energy plant is nearing completion.
Dr Henderson told the Legal Affairs and You program on DBS last night that development of the geothermal plant has reached an encouraging stage.
Dr Henderson says the operation of the geothermal energy plant is mainly managed by Dominican employees.
The Energy Minister says Dominicans should be proud of the geothermal energy initiative.
