The National Youth Council has set the month of October for the first ever National Youth Parliament
Ashfred Norris who is chairman of the General Assembly of the National Youth Council said “right now consultations are ongoing with key stakeholders, we are asking the youth what are the topics that they want to hear us debating in youth parliament.”
He said “the council is really excited to be taking on an initiative, something this grand, we are hoping that we get a lot of young people.”
Norris added, “It is a long process and the council is looking at training the speakers and we want it to be something of a certain quality that you know when it’s executed it’s executed perfectly.
