Dominica’s Health Sector Receives High Commendations

A Representative of the Pan American Health Organisation has given thumbs up to Dominica’s Primary health care system.

Dr Peter Crowley says Dominica should be commended for its achievements in the health sector.

Meantime, Minister responsible for Health, Dr. Kenneth Darroux says the launch of the national health insurance pilot program is a game changer for Dominica’s health sector.

Government presented $5M to the Dominica Social Security on Monday to manage the pilot program which will benefit pregnant mothers 35 years and under and children three years and under.
