Dominica’s National Security Minister says there is need for change in the country’s policing methods

National Security Minister Rayburn Blackmoore says while the Government is still discussing the contents of the report on the review of the police force, it is clear there is need for change in the policing methods.

Mr. Blackmore told Focus on Government on Thursday night that the Force cannot operate in the same climate like it did 20 years ago.

A review of the Police Force was conducted by a team of the Jamaican Defense Force, the Deputy Commissioner of Police of Grenada and the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice.
