Dominica’s recently reviewed National Youth Policy is currently before Cabinet for approval.
Communications Officer at the National Youth Council (NYC), Paul Baron says the policy which is intended to more effectively address current issues among today’s youth is a step in the right direction for Dominica.
He says the NYC is prepared to implement a number of recommendations upon its approval.
He says boosting youth in the area of entrepreneurship is a key focus for the National Youth Council.
