A donation of medical equipment to the tune of EC$80, 000 was made to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital’s Eye Department this morning.
The donation was made by the Guangdong Province of China’s Health Commission and included ophthalmology and cardiology equipment.
At the handing over ceremony, Hospital CEO Dr. Dexter James hailed the donation as a step toward the development of Dominica’s eye care services.
