
Central Cooperative Credit Union Dublanc FC continued their strong start to 2025, securing yet another title over the weekend with a convincing win in the DFA Premier President’s Cup.
Dublanc eased past Valvoline WE United with a 4–1 victory in front of a large crowd at the DFA Technical Center. Travist Joseph led the scoring with a brace, while Audel Laville and captain Briel Thomas each added a goal. Roosevelt Copiel netted the lone goal for WE United.
Head coach for CCCUL Dublanc FC, Malcolm Bertrand, acknowledged that while the performance was not the team’s best, he was pleased to come away with the trophy.

Travist Joseph was named Man of the Match. Dublanc earned a trophy along with a five-thousand-dollar cash prize, while WE United received silver medals and three thousand dollars for their second-place finish.

In the third-place playoff, Sagicor South East staged a dramatic comeback to defeat the Roosevelt Skerrit Bombers 5–2. The Bombers appeared set to claim third place after leading late in the match, but South East equalized in the closing moments of regulation before scoring three unanswered goals in extra time.
Goals for South East came from Yanick George, Joslen Prince, Sidney Lockhart, Cheston Prosper, and Shem Abraham. Antawn Larocque and Usher George found the net for the Bombers.
Assistant coach Alicious Prince guided the South East squad, who earned bronze medals and a two-thousand-dollar prize for their efforts.
