Dominica’s rising cricket talent, Earsinho Fontaine, has earned selection to the West Indies Men’s Under-19 squad for their upcoming bilateral series against England Under-19s, which begins on November 16.
Fontaine recently represented the West Indies Under-19 team in their home series against Sri Lanka, where he impressed with his maiden half-century — scoring 51 off 66 balls in the third ODI.
President of the Dominica Cricket Association, Clement Marcellin, commended Fontaine’s achievement, noting that his selection was long anticipated.
Marcellin added that the young cricketer’s progress is a testament to the growing strength of Dominica’s cricket development program.
