Eight farmer groups benefiting from a donation of equipment and other items

Eight farmer groups are benefiting from a donation of equipment and other items from the Caribbean Agriculture Research and Development Institute CARDI and the Inter American Institute for cooperation on Agriculture IICA.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture Dr Reginald Thomas says the compliment Dominica’s efforts to revive the Agricultural Sector after the ravages of Hurricane Maria.

The donation of farm equipment and other items were presented to the Belles farmers, Warner farmers group, Soul Cooperation, Cochrane farmers group, Bee Keepers Cooperative, Agricultural Women Movement. Delices Toloma group 4-H and Northern Agricultural women.
