Electoral Reform Dominates UWP General Council Meeting

Leader of the Opposition United Workers Party (UWP), Lennox Linton says the issue of electoral reform dominated the party’s general council meeting in Roseau at the Weekend.

Linton says an outreach program to sensitize the communities about the importance of electoral reform will be strengthened.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has said his party is not opposed to electoral reform and has submitted recommendations to the electoral commission on the matter.
