A female police officer has been released on $50,000 bail after being charged with 4 counts forgery this morning at the magistrates court.
Marcia Renault Gustave was asked to surrender all travel documents, and her passport and has been asked not to leave the state without the permission of the court.
She has also been asked to report to the police station every Wednesday between 7am and 7pm.
Allegations are that she maliciously and for the purpose of deceit, forged certain documents namely three Certificates of Competence dated June 23rd 2016.
She also is charged with forging an “Appointment book” at the Traffic Department on June 23rd 2016.
She was not required to enter a plea since the matter is an indictable offense to be heard before a Judge and jury.
Gustave is represented by attorney, Wayne Nordé.
She is to report back to court on the 2nd of May.
Meantime two men, Irving Pascal and Felix Attidore will soon learn their fate as the jury has been begun deliberations into their matter.
Both men are facing charges of grievous bodily harm relating to a 2010 incident involving Complainant, Roosevelt Raymond.
The Jury has been deliberating for the last 2 hours.
