A flood watch for Dominica has been extended until 6pm tonight, as the country continues to experience rains and gusty winds associated with a trough system.
That trough system dumped a lot of rain late yesterday afternoon and into evening and also produced some gusty winds and thunderstorms.
Weather Forecaster Marshall Alexander says shower activity is expected to continue this afternoon, and as a result the flood watch has been extended.
