Flood Watch Discontinued for Dominica

A flood watch declared for Dominica on Monday has been discontinued.

On Monday, a trough system dumped a lot of rain late on the island from early afternoon and into the evening producing some gusty winds and thunderstorms.

A storm watch was in effect up till 6pm this evening when Weather Forecaster, Marshall Alexander joined DBS News live to make the announcement that the watch was no longer in effect.

Residents are asked to remain vigilante especially in disaster prone areas where the earth is still very moist.
