Forestry Officials Want Patrons to Assist in Protection of Botanic Gardens

Director of Forestry, Minchinton Burton is calling on Patrons of what has become one of Dominica’s most anticipated cultural events, the FLOW Creole in the Park, to assist in the upkeep of the Botanic Gardens.

The event, has for over a decade, kicked off the buzz for independence activities in Dominica.

Burton Says for the past thirteen years, The Forestry, Wildlife and Parks Division has derived many benefits for the botanic gardens through its partnership with FLOW formally known as Cable and Wireless.

He Solicited the assistance of the General Public in the maintenance of the National Park during the festivities.
