A former Dominican Finance Minister has passed.
Vic Riviere, Finance Minister in the Patrick John Administration succumbed to his illness in St. Lucia on Friday night.
The former Minister who was also Member of Parliament for the Mahaut Constituency died in St Lucia on Friday evening.

Meantime, Historian Dr. Lennox Honychurch, who was an Opposition Senator in Parliament during the years Riviere served as Minister says the late Riviere made a contribution to Dominica.
The late Vic Riviere passed at the age of 78 and would have been 79 years yesterday.
